The Australian plant-based market is evolving. While consumer interest remains strong, the latest audit from the Grains & Legumes Nutrition Council (GLNC) shows that overall product availability has declined since 2022, reflecting a more mature market.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the global, regional, and national burden of colorectal cancer (CRC) attributable to diets high in red meat from 1990 to 2021, project trends to 2036, and stratify findings by age, sex, and Sociodemographic Index (SDI).

AUSNUT 2023 is a collection of detailed data about the Australian food supply. It supports the 2023 National Nutrition and Physical Activity Study. It contains data to help the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) turn information people reported about foods and dietary supplements into intakes. It also contains information to help interpret the data and compare it with previous surveys.




National Nutrition and Physical Activity Survey - September 2025

The National Nutrition and Physical Activity Survey (NNPAS) 2023 was conducted from January 2023 to March 2024. This survey was designed to collect information about nutritional intakes (including foods, nutrients and supplements consumed) using dietary recall and self-reported questions. Physical and sedentary activity information was collected using a combination of measured and self-reported data.
