Membership of the Institute is open to all members of the food and allied industries. Membership categories include:
AIFST recently launched 13 new Communities of Interest (COIs), including geographical and special interest Communities, to better support and inform what events, services and offerings the Institute provides members.
Communities of Interest exist in each state – QLD, VIC, NSW, SA, Tas and WA – as well across key member interest areas – Consultants, Nutrition, Sensory, Young Professionals, New Product Development and Innovation, Microbiology and Cook Chill.
You are eligible to join AIFST if you meet any of the following criteria:
You have an active interest in food science and technology.
You are actively engaged in the food industry.
You are interested in the AIFST and wish to further your understanding of the food industry.
