The AIFST President's Award 2026

The AIFST President’s Award recognises an individual who has provided exceptional and ongoing support for the Institute.

The 2026 award winner is Jodie Hill, Sensory Solutions.

The AIFST President's Award recognises an individual who has provided exceptional and ongoing support to the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology, making a lasting contribution to the Institute and its mission of supporting Australia's agrifood professionals. 

Jodie Hill, has demonstrated outstanding dedication to AIFST over many years through her leadership, expertise and tireless volunteer service. As a long-standing member, Fellow, contributor to the Sensory and Consumer Science Special Interest Group, mentor, convention session chair and organiser of the NZOZ Sensory and Consumer Science Symposium, Jodie has helped strengthen one of AIFST's most active technical communities.

Her commitment to professional development, mentoring emerging food scientists and championing evidence-based sensory and consumer science has enriched the Institute and its members, making her a most worthy recipient of the 2026 AIFST President's Award.
