5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Australia has committed to contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development goal of halving per capita global food waste at the retail and consumer levels and reducing losses along production and supply chains by 2030. This will be achieved through the National Food Waste Strategy (NFWS) with the support of the Fight Food Waste Cooperative Research Centre (FFW CRC). The best way of achieving this ambitious goal is through turning ‘waste’ into a resource by adopting circular bio-economy principles.

You are invited to attend our social event and listen to two speakers with renowned expertise and passion in the area of food waste knowledge and management. This is an opportunity to learn more about reducing waste in the supply chain and transforming unavoidable waste into high-value co-products and an opportunity not to be missed.

This event will include light canapes and drinks.

$7.50 from every* ticket purchased will be donated to Foodbank WA. Each $1 raised provides 2 meals for those in need.
* Not inclusive of student tickets.
