AIFST Communities of Interest

12 Communities of Interest span geographic and specialist areas across the food sector. These committees work with the AIFST staff, providing strategic insights into their specific areas and delivering a range of AIFST activities.

Across 2017, Communities of Interest contributed think pieces to food australia, authored articles for the AIFST digital platforms, hosted networking events, took part in mentoring program working groups and gave advice on the annual convention program as well as many other things. Community of Interest committee meetings take place four times a year and can be accessed via teleconference for any member unable to attend in person.

AIFST members volunteer their time and expertise to be a part of the committee; if you would like to become involved, please complete the Expression of Interest form below and email back to [email protected]
