National Science Week is Australia's major national celebration of the sciences, occurring in August each year. In 2021, the theme is “Food – different by Design”.
To celebrate National Science Week, AIFST wants to share your thoughts on Food Science as a Career.
We are inviting all members to record a short video (2-3 mins) answering the following questions:
1. What do you do – what does your role involve?
2. How long have you been in the food industry?
3. What do you love about your job in the food industry?
4. What has been your greatest challenge?
5. What is something you have gained personally from your job?
6. Why should someone consider a career in the food industry?
Send the video to AIFST via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Monday August 2. We will be sharing them on our website and via social media during Science Week.
Get creative – set up an interview with a colleague or a group or film in your workplace (with permission).
What’s in it for you? Fame and fortune (not quite) and a free ticket to the 2021 Convention to the best and most creative video as judged by the AIFST Board.Questions – please contact us on email@example.com.
