The Victorian Young Members Group (VYMG) offers AIFST members
who are recent graduates and students of food science a range of
social networking activities, to not only connect you with other likeminded
food enthusiasts, but also to keep you up to date with food
industry developments. The VYMG is committed to identifying and
servicing the future needs of young food science and technology
professionals, and we welcome your ideas on how we can achieve this.

This year the VYMG will provide you with networking opportunities, access to high profile food industry specialists,
insights into career paths and opportunities, and career guidance to assist with personal development and furthering
your career. In addition to this, we encourage all young members to get involved with the AIFST’s wider community
functions including the upcoming convention ‘creating the future of food’, to be held in Melbourne, 25th – 27th July,
2010.
