Ishan Galapathy and Quality Associates have teamed up to deliver food industry relevant process/continuous improvement training. Ishan will be sharing his insights on this long-held debate about which methodology is most appropriate for the food industry.
 
Lean and Six Sigma approaches have been used in the industry to reduce waste, improve process capability and ultimately, improve business profitability through improved overall efficiencies. Many still debate about the suitability of each approach for various processes.
 
This webinar will focus on exploring the strengths and limitations of each approach and what we need to be aware of when choosing. In addition to these approaches, the webinar will also touch on some other problem-solving tools such as A3, 5Whys and Fishbone diagrams to provide you with a holistic view.

Ishan has a wealth of knowledge in the field of Operational Excellence (OpEx), working across six countries for nearly two decades, including multi-nationals such as Kellogg’s and Arnotts.
In his last corporate role, Ishan was responsible for OpEx in Asia Pacific for Kellogg’s and was part of the global team that developed its global supply chain excellence program.
An industry expert in OpEx, speaker and author, Ishan has appeared on several media platforms sharing his knowledge on all things OpEx.
When he’s not thinking about or working on OpEx, you can find him playing backyard cricket with his sons or sipping a cup of coffee with his wife.
