The main purpose of the role is to coordinate and support AIFST programs aligned to membership services.This includes assisting with membership support and AIFST programs and events such as:
      - Mentoring Program
      - Student Product Development Competition
      - Awards
      - Convention Student volunteer
 
The role is full time.

Safe Food Science Officer - Queensland

As the Science Officer, and a member of Safe Foods Science Team, you will be provided with on the job training/ mentoring and learning opportunities to develop your skills across multidisciplinary teams. You will contribute to providing the best available scientific evidence, and applied scientific knowledge of food safety, to inform decision making relating to food safety management. You will provide support and input into to the scientific aspects of Safe Foods policy and legislative development and operational requirements.

Food & Beverage Regional Account Manager-Australia and New Zealand

 

We are looking for a high-performing, passionate, charismatic Food & Beverage Regional Account Manager for Australia and New Zealand to join our growing team. The manager is responsible for identifying new clients and for establishing and maintaining sales relationships. They will engage in a variety of tasks, including sales, forecast, coordination, strategic planning, relationship management, negotiation, and most of all, development and drive growth opportunities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with customers within the food, beverage and flavor industry
  • Achieve sales targets to grow existing customers and expand into new accounts
  • Manage conflicts and come up with effective negotiation and sales strategies
  • Work closely with our in-house applications team
  • Understand customer needs and translate to projects
  • Be well informed on the food and beverage industry changes

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 4 years working experience in business development and sales account management in the food and beverage/ nutraceutical/ pharmaceutical industry, specifically flavors and ingredients
  • Self-driven and goal oriented with ability to meet targets and deadlines
  • Has a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
